Congratulations are in order for Aaron and company! Thanks for getting the blog off the ground; it’s an important accomplishment to start 2008 off with! I cannot remember a time when it was more crucial for Dems to communicate with each other.
Like Aaron and others, I am royally ticked off at the non-gifts the Bush /Cheney Grinch team gave the US this year: the catastrophe of “Dubyuh” who would be king and his illegitimate war… national debt at a level that is almost impossible to conceive of…our weakening dollar and the destruction of our positive international image … and of course, there’s also the Bush/Cheney policy of “business as usual” concerning climate change to really make you feel good about being an American in 2007….
If you are still undecided about whom to vote for in the primary… can I recommend team Clinton enough? Hooray for Hillary! I was really delighted to be one of the HBS Dems who went to hear see Bill Clinton at the Liberty Hotel when he was in town campaigning for Hillary in December. Although Bill was clearly a little tired, I still loved hearing his outline of the policies of our possible future "Madame President." I also attended Mayor Menino’s breakfast for Hilary and will definitely go to New Hampshire to help out in January. I know a couple of HBS Dems are off to caucus in Iowa this week and I hope some of their experiences get written up in the HBS Dems Blog…
Happy New Year all! Start counting down the days till Bush/Cheney is nothing more than a despicable chapter in our history books…
